July 3, 2014 Thursday

Did some Tone and Stretch with a resistance band this morning with Richard.

1Thessalonians  chapter 2 - St Paul taking the word to the Thessalonians.  It pleases God to have his people nurture and spread the Gospel to everyone.  It is compared here to a mother nurturing her children with life giving milk.

On this day:
2003 - Mom and Nicole drove Waynette and I to the airport in Windsor where we boarded a plane and flew to Toronto and then on to Glasgow Scotland.  It was a 7 hour flight plus the hold up waiting for the luggage.  It took all night and the plane was full, but I couldn't have been happier.  Thanks again and again to Waynette for sharing her inheritance from her grandfather for this trip.  I will never forget.
1945 - The first civilian passenger car built since February 1942 was driven off the assembly line at the Ford Motor Company plant in Detroit, MI. Production had been diverted due to World War II.

Parenting - Have you ever had a situation, where, you know your child wants to share something with you, but has second thoughts about what you will say?  We have to trust that we have given them the ability to make their own decisions and heaven knows, we have all made mistakes, but they are ours to make.  Maybe it's the right thing to do, but they aren't sure themselves, been there - done that.

Book Club - Animal Farm by George Orwell.  Bad pigs.

Enjoy the day!  Make it memorable!
