March 13, 2017 Monday #Walk#Help#Creed#playday#history!

Get Fit
Walking today.  It is the best thing to do when you don't feel like anything else.

Get Faith
Isaiah 41:10  "Do not be dismayed.  I am your God.  I will strengthen you, I will help you.."  Too often we lose faith and courage with daily life.  We all do.  The difference is some of us turn to the Lord for help and we get it.  You only have to ask God to help and keep believing he will.

The Creed - I believe in God the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.  When people ask me what I believe in as a Christian, I find it easiest to recite the Apostles Creed, slowly and deliberately so they know it isn't just a remembered passage that we chant, without thinking.  So, think about that "I believe in God the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth."  I do and all that that refers to, that he IS  the almighty, THE creator of everything I know - heaven and earth and all that entails. How about you?

On this day
1999  This is a memory for Nicole.  Bruce came over and took you to Birmingham to see Nicole in a play, then you came back here, had dinner and then went to Liggett to see Lauren in a play there.  Sorry, it doesn't say what the plays were - a good reason to share more information with your mother.

0607 - The 12th recorded passage of Halley's Comet occurred. See someone else keeps track of this stuff not just me!

Belarus
Let's expand our knowledge.  I just ran out of Zhodzina.
Belarus (Listeni/bɛləˈrs/ bel-ə-roossBelarusianБелару́сьlat. BiełaruśIPA: [bʲɛlaˈrusʲ]RussianБеларусьtr. BelaruśIPA: [bʲɪlɐˈrusʲ]), officially the Republic of Belarus (BelarusianРэспубліка БеларусьRussianРеспублика Беларусь), formerly known by its Russian name Byelorussia or Belorussia (RussianБелоруссия; though this name is no longer used in Belarus itself, even in the Russian language[citation needed]), is a landlocked country in Eastern Europe[8] bordered by Russia to the northeast, Ukraine to the south, Poland to the west, and Lithuania and Latvia to the northwest. Its capital and most populous city is Minsk. Over 40% of its 207,600 square kilometres (80,200 sq mi) is forested. Its strongest economic sectors are service industries and manufacturing.[9] Until the 20th century, different states at various times controlled the lands of modern-day Belarus, including the Principality of Polotsk (11th to 14th centuries), the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, and the Russian Empire. It is an interesting history.

Enjoy the day!  Make it memorable!  Happy Birthday to Karen, Lisa, Teresa and Corinne!
