April 6, 2016 Wednesday #triggers#merryheart#Buddy's#1Olympics#Nisbet?

Get Fit
I have to watch my food triggers along with doing my Pilates today.  If, in the middle of the day I eat a small piece of chocolate - I'm all done, I will keep cheating the rest of the day.  How about you?

Get Faith
Proverbs 17:22 - "A merry heart does good like medicine"  The Bible tells us to be happy.  Find what ever it is you like and do it. (As long as its legal).  I can't believe in a God that wants us to be sullen and miserable, always waiting for our lives to start.  Get started, enjoy yours.

On this day
1982 -It was Holy Week and on this day we had snow.  Ty was living here at the time and never to be one who let a little weather stop him - we went out to Buddy's for pizza.

1896 - The first modern Olympic Games began in Athens, Greece. Now that's happy! coming this year to Brazil.

Friends
My friend Ty had come out of a bad marriage and moved in with me till he found himself again.  My house turned into party central and the happiness, and mostly meeting Norma replaced his unhappiness with joy - and still does.  Things can turn around quickly.

Prince Albert Canada
A little more history:  The community received a boost in 1866 when Reverend James Nisbet, a Canada Presbyterian Church minister arrived to establish amission for the Cree. Nisbet named the mission after Albert, Prince Consort, husband of Queen Victoria,[10] who had died in 1861, from which the present city derives its name. In 1879 the Presbyterian Church brought out Lucy Margaret Baker to run the local mission school.[11] During the same year, the local Freemasons established the first lodge in what is now the province of Saskatchewan: Kinistino Lodge No. 1, which still exists.[12] "The Mission", the settlement centrally located, and "Porter Town", located to the west, were the two communities that would come together to form what is now Prince Albert.[4] The settlement east of Prince Albert was termed Goschen before finally amalgamated, however East Prince Albert still appears on a 1924 map.[4][13]

Enjoy the Day!  Make it Memorable!!  Happy Birthday Chad and Dave!!
