Get Faith
Ephesians chapter 2 "In him the whole structure is joined together and grows into a holy temple in the Lord; in whom you also are built together spiritually into a dwelling place for God." This, to me, explains the reason for church. It to build the faith in a community of believers who then grow that strength into a place for God to be with His people. It is a location for those who are searching for that place to attend to learn and grow themselves, if there are no churches where do we go to worship and base our faith to teach and share? Your absence is important, you are missed by those who want to share faith with you.
On this day
1992 After work Mark and I went to Race Rock over on Groesbeck for a LSCORA - Lake St Clair Offshore Racing Assoc. I was involved for 20 years with boat racing, it is how Mark and I met. Bobby Moore owned the Blind Fish on Jefferson and we hung out there quite a bit also, but this place he opened specifically for offshore racers. I donated a few framed posters and framed photos for the decor. It was pretty cool by my standards and most others I think.
1992 - In Minneapolis, MN, a federal jury struck down professional football's limited free agency system. I have no idea what that means.
Alaska
The name "Alaska" (Russian: Аляска, tr. Alyaska) was introduced in the Russian colonial period when it was used to refer to the Alaska Peninsula.
