Get Faith
Philippians 1:23 "I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far." It seems logical to wish for death to be with Christ, but we can't. When you love the Lord you want to be with him, but we are called to be here and share His story, the Gospel, so that others can also learn to wish the same thing. Learn about His story and you will look forward to rejoining him as well.
On this day
1985 Nicole was on demand breast feeding. Which meant we were up all night long. I quite often slept in the chair or watched cable TV all night. On this day my mother in law came over to give me some sleep time and Norma came over and made my lunch and dinner. Wish I could get pregnant again. Love my loved ones!
1786 - In New York City, commercially manufactured ice cream was advertised for the first time. And now I work at an ice cream company!
Parenting
When there is a death, children have a hard time understanding the loss. Unless, they have been in Sunday School and learned the story. But, most people, even if they are not practicing a faith will tell a child that the person they miss is gone to heaven. It seems heartless not to tell them that. It gives them hope that they will see that person again and that they are alright. How about you? Does that thought comfort you as well? Don't you want to know more about something that important?
