October 5, 2016 Wednesday #I'm baaaaaack!Smile#float#fight#Suriname

After a summer of working 7 days a week and having little time for anything else, I am back.

Get Fit:
This I really missed, at a time when I needed it most.  When you are super busy, and tire yourself out the last thing we think of is exercising.  It shouldn't be.  Back on track and always a favorite is AM Yoga.  If your workout plan took a dive because you thought you were active enough during the summer, now is the time to get back on track.  Do not sink into the autumn comfort and veg.

Get Faith
Ephesians 4:25-32  This to me is the center of how a Christian should act.  vs32 "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."  Your mission today (if your choose to accept it) is to smile at someone that has made you angry.  It is a proven method of resolving animosity.

On this day
2000 - Lucky you if you have a high schooler.  This time of year means cooler temps, football, home-coming and FLOAT BUILDING!!!.  They were building it in our garage, which was a thrill for Mom and I.  All the fun and creativity, well mostly fun, right in the garage where we could see the whole thing coming together.  Of course we provided snacks and pop for the occasion. I hope you keep involved with your kids at this crucial time (high school) in their lives.

1930 - "The Fighting Priest" began airing on CBS radio. This might be interesting to read up on.  I wondered if smiling would have helped him.

Suriname
Suriname (/ˈsʊrnæm//ˈsʊrnɑːm/ or /ˈsʊrnəm/, also spelled Surinam), officially known as the Republic of Suriname (DutchRepubliek SurinameDutch pronunciation: [ˌreːpyˈblik ˌsyːriˈnaːmə]), is a sovereign state on the northeastern Atlantic coast of South AmericaIt is bordered byFrench Guiana to the east, Guyana to the west and Brazil to the south. At just under 165,000 km2 (64,000 sq mi), it is the smallest country in South America.[note 1] Suriname has a population of approximately 566,000,[3] most of whom live on the country's north coast, in and around the capital and largest city, Paramaribo.
Let's try here this month!  South America, see the little dot?

Enjoy the day!  Make it Memorable!  Happy Birthday Sherry!!!
