Get Faith
11 Timothy chapter 2  " You then, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus; and what you have heard from me through many witnesses entrust to faithful people who will be able to teach others as well."  They didn't have social media, TV, not even newspapers or books; and yet they spread the word of Jesus Christ and his life and death on the cross.  This is a letter from Paul to Timothy.  Not only a gift of knowledge and support to Timothy, but to us thousands of years later.  Take these messages and build your faith and knowledge of Christ and the early people who were the church and realize, without a church the faith would not be alive today.  What church do you go to?

On this day
1976  I love this memory!!  Pete and I got up early and went to his parents house and picked them up and a cousin, who was also named Pete.  He was extremely good looking, visiting from Germany and a threat to my Pete.  We all got in the car and drove up to Niagara Falls.  Despite the rain we hit all the tourist places, had a not so good dinner and went back to the hotel for the night.  We had one room with two double beds and visiting Peter was on a rollaway.  After everyone took turns getting ready for bed and the lights were out and everyone settled - visiting Peter in the best whisper voice ever said psssst Nancy?   Oh my gosh, Tatjiana, Erich and I burst out laughing, but not my Peter laying next to me.  He never did appreciate the joke.

1865 - The billiard ball was patented by John Wesley Hyatt.  Two questions - what did they use before and did this guy have hotels?

Honolulu Hawaii

Geography[edit]

Astronaut photograph of western Honolulu, HNL Airport, and Pearl Harbor taken from the International Space Station
According to the United States Census Bureau, the Urban Honolulu Census-designated place (CDP) has a total area of 68.4 square miles (177.2 km2). 60.5 square miles (156.7 km2) of it (88.44%) is land, and 7.9 square miles (20.5 km2) of it (11.56%) is water.[25]
Honolulu is the remotest major city in the world.[8] The closest location on the mainland to Honolulu is the Point Arena Lighthouse in California, at 2,045 nautical miles (3,787 km).[26] (Nautical vessels require some additional distance to circumnavigate Makapuʻu Point.) However, islands off the Mexican coast, and part of the Aleutian Islands of Alaska are slightly closer to Honolulu than the mainland. The volcanic field of the Honolulu Volcanics is partially located inside the city.[27]
How about a remote, over populated get away?

Enjoy the day!  Make it memorable!  Happy Birthday Jesse, Gary, Crystal, Rena and Nick
