Get Faith
2 Thessalonians chapter 1  "We must always give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of everyone of you for one another is increasing."  I have been blessed to be in community with a lot of God's people this week due to VBS and the involvement of 3 churches and  Living Water Ministry and Lifebuilders.  That is just a whole lot of loving Christians sharing the word of God and showing children (130) how Christians love and serve together.  You can almost touch the love and joy in the building - marvelous.  Just in the preschool where there are 30 3 to 4 year olds, 9 teenager small group leaders, 3 adult (super) leaders and teaching staff and pastors.  So the above verse means a lot to me today, "growing abundantly" and increasing love for one another, says it all.

On this day
1985  I was blessed with a teenager that loved babies and would come and hold and play with Nicole all day if I would let her.  Well on this day it sounds like I did.  It says after Carol came over I took a shower, did a facial, did my nails and layed in the sun.   Ma came over later with Aaron and then Andy and Alice came over and brought dinner.  Some days it is so nice to be pampered.  See, I don't remember any of the days but the ones I spent holding and playing with Nicole and Aaron, but it is good to involve others in their world.

Fairfield South Wales

Fairfield is a western suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Being in the centre of the Cumberland Plain, Fairfield is located 23 kilometres (14 mi) west of the Sydney central business district and is the administrative centre for the local government area of the City of Fairfield – Although a very small portion of it is part of the Cumberland Council. Fairfield supports a mixture of commercial and residential developments, mostly characterised by medium-density buildings and some new high-rise apartments.
Fairfield is one of the most multicultural and culturally diverse cities in Australia, with more than half of the residents having been born overseas, mostly in non-English speaking countries.[2] The majority of the suburb's dwellers speak a language other than English at home, with the two most common ones being Arabic and Assyrian Neo-Aramaic.[1] Fairfield is an ethnic enclave of Assyrian Christians (mostly from Iraq, and much recently Syria) and other Iraqis of various religious and ethnic origins.[3]

Enjoy the day!  Make it memorable!  Happy Birthday Nan!
