Psalm 112
Their descendants will be mighty in the land;
the generation of the upright will blessed.
Wealth and riches are in their houses,
and their righteousness endures forever.
They rise in the darkness as a light for the upright.
God does not request that you live in a poor state, He is known to gift his children with wealth and good things. It is not money but the love of money that separates you from God. He promises good things to his children - in abundance.
On this day
1978 On the way home from work I stopped at Andy and Adele's for dinner, (and to see Merri) and then stopped to grocery shop. When I got home I cleaned house and did laundry. It was a Thursday and just before Labor Day weekend. That meant everything had to be done and ready to be out on the boat for 3 days. It was so much fun but now I'd be happy with a few hours at the Jazz festival on the river front. The other sounds like too much work, lol.
1881 - The first tennis championships in the U.S. were played. Some things don't change - it is all about tennis on TV today.
