Get Faith
Hebrews chapter 12  "Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight and the sin that clings so closely, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who for the sake of the joy that was set before him endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of God."   Again, this sounds like Paul to me, but Luther says no.  In examining  all of the pieces of this run on sentence - it says so much.  What stuck out to me today was "and let us run with perseverance".  Ragnar and those who raised money for the ability to bring those who would otherwise not be able to attend summer camp - was a huge success in raising 52,000 +.  Those runners who took up the gauntlet and ran in relay from Muskegan to Traverse City, were joined in love, joy and faith, just as those in the days after Christ died - picked up the cross and carried on.  We all want to share the faith with those who have not heard the Gospel as yet.

On this day
1975  It was a Friday and after work Pete and I went to Casa Mia for dinner.  Who else goes out to dinner on Friday?  It seems like a little reward for working all week and not having to cook.  After dinner Pete went to his grandfathers funeral.  His grandmother Xana (Christine) had been married a few times, and I know this wasn't her current husband Kostere, because I would have been at the funeral home as well.  I noted that Pete had the boat pulled out on this day.  That would have been the 1963 Criss Craft 31 foot flying bridge boat, that was my favorite.  It was a wooden boat that just hugged the water.  Ahhhh memories.

A look at the shareholders of Gran Colombia Gold Corp. (TSE:GCM) can tell us which group is most powerful. Large companies usually have institutions as shareholders, and we usually see insiders owning shares in smaller companies. Companies that used to be publicly owned tend to have lower insider ownership.
Gran Colombia Gold is a smaller company with a market capitalization of CA$248m, so it may still be flying under the radar of many institutional investors. Our analysis of the ownership of the company, below, shows that institutions are noticeable on the share registry. Let's take a closer look to see what the different types of shareholder can tell us about GCM.  Were you thinking this was a poor country?  Think again.
Enjoy the day!  Make it memorable!
