Get Faith
Hebrews 2:1  "Therefore we must pay greater attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away from it."  All of the Bible has great lessons and information for us to read and learn.  Our Pastors go to seminary to study information about the times of the Bible, the people who lived it and shared it with us and can teach us so much more than what we can learn ourselves while reading and studying on our own.  When reading it ask the Holy Spirit to help you seek deeper meaning and reread the words.  Remember the times and what the people were experiencing and above all look for the love and grace from God in all that you read.

On this day
2006  It was a Saturday in fall .  My daughter was off at college and Mom and I just enjoying the fall colors out the front window.  I spent some time outside putting summer stuff away and cleaning up and went across the street to check on my neighbor Al.  She was a year younger than Mom and on this day she had the flu and I wanted to make sure she was ok and if she needed anything.  I made a corn souffle for dinner and probably took her some.  The highlight of the day came in the mail, an invitation to the Furstenaws for Thanksgiving dinner.  They were good friends of Andy and Alice's up in Roscommon and we were invited to their table that sat 20 or so.  It was always such a good time for many years.   I'm invited to the Boris's this year, again for dinner.  So fortunate.

1922 - In Egypt, Howard Carter discovered the entry of the lost tomb of Pharaoh Tutankhamen.wow the year my Mom was born.

Itagui Colombia

In 1832 he founded the first primary school was given by Don Manuel Antonio Piedrahita for several years. It was private and only in 1871 was established on the record. The March 26, 1876 was inaugurated Itagüi Telegraph. This was announced Mayor Joseph M. Ruiz when he led the first telegraph message to President Don Reccared state of Villa.  This seems like a small thing untill you think of how communication has improved and ruined the world.

Enjoy the day!  Make it memorable!  Happy birthday to Connie and Christina S.!!!
