I am trying to get fit. My cold turned into an infection. What do you do? My daughter told me to go to the doctor, so I did. Now, after talking to friends they say "you are lucky you can just call your doctor and get in." Yes, I am. I had a regular appointment coming up but they took me in yesterday and he gave me an antibiotic. I do not take these if I don't need to and haven't had one in years probably. If you are one of those who has to resort to stopping at a drug store for mild illnesses or sitting in a clinic for an hour to be seen - I would advise looking into a good primary doctor that has time for his/her patients. You get a primary that co ordinates all your specialists and knows ALL of your health issues - like your mom, and will always make time for you.

Matthew 6:33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." It is hard to know you have the love of God if you are not experiencing it first hand. It is like anything else you learn in life -- you have to study it. The best way of course was to learn it as a child but there is still hope for you. Find a Lutheran church Bible Study. Some offer classes for beginners. I say Lutheran because we started the movement for people to be in charge of their own faith by reading the Bible. You can thank the Catholic priest Martin Luther for opening faith up to the common man by putting Bibles in our hands. Your faith is your own to have - and enjoy!

1999 This was the Saturday before Easter. I was busy cleaning house and getting dinner ready for the next day. Nicole went bowling and Jeff from work stopped by. Dyed eggs and my hair and even washed the dog. It was 74 degrees. I feel like our global warming is in reverse. Today we are getting freezing rain and sleet and snow. What do you think?
