Get Faith
John chapter 12  "So the chief priests planned to put Lazarus to death as well, since it was on account of him that many of the Jews were deserting and were believing in Jesus..."    This was new to me, I don't ever recall reading it, but it is interesting, right?  The chief priests were terrified that they would lose there positions and the following of the people.  Poor Lazarus, already saved from death once, now being considered for death again.  The Jews were ready to follow the best chance they had for a new and better life under a better king.  So much drama for such a waste of the precious time that we have to enjoy this life and world that God created for us.  Try to  spend more time thanking God for this gift of life we have and our beautiful world instead of jockeying for position in this temporary place.

On this day
1976  My kid brother got beat up.  He had so many sorrows in this world but fortunately he had faith.  He was always in the wrong place at the wrong time and making bad decisions to top it.  He was a slight built guy with very bad health, a juvenile diabetic with a dysfunctional family.  He was back living at my house and I was far from a good example during those years.  Mom had remarried and her husband - a strong healthy man couldn't deal with Mark's infirmities.  All lives matter but some are not as blessed as others.  Don't judge.

1562 - In Vassy, France, Catholics massacred over 1,000 Huguenots. The event started the First War of Religion.   This is old Testament not Christian - Why?  did they do this?

Carthage Tunisia
On the way to Turkey we stopped in Carthage and decided to stay here and visit this month!

CarthageCarthage (/ˈkɑːrθɪ/Punic𐤒𐤓𐤕•𐤇𐤃𐤔𐤕Qart-ḥadašt, "New City"; LatinCarthāgōArabicقرطاج‎, Qarṭāj) was the center or capital city of the ancient Carthaginian civilization, on the eastern side of the Lake of Tunis in what is now the Tunis Governoratein Tunisia.

Enjoy the day!  Make it memorable!  Happy Birthday Rox!! and Krister!!
