Get Fit
Jillian and I did two whole circuits this morning.  That is a lot for me.  She is a tough trainer.

Get Faith
Acts 2:1-21 - This is the Pentecost, the entering of the Holy Spirit - that part of the Triune God that is in us after baptism.  The people were able to share the word of the Gospel to anyone they encountered because they could speak other languages.because of the Spirit. The last line, which is derogatory, is that people thought they had too much wine to drink.  I can attest that after drinking wine I have never been able to speak a foreign language, but let me know if it works!

On this day
1983 - I went with a good friend of mine to the bank and put my house up for collateral on a race boat loan.  That probably sounds pretty lame to you, but it was a safe bet.  The boat was a 50 foot catamaran hull with Chryslers in it and was sponsored by Chrysler.  It didn't do well but it looked good and I was happy to help my friend out.  This is the off shore world races in Key West week.  I am so sorry to miss.

1965 - Lee Ann Roberts Breedlove became the first woman to exceed 300 mph when she went 308.5 mph. car, boat?  what was she driving?  It doesn't say.

Parenting
My neighbors son is in the 11th grade, the year you start looking at colleges.  After going to a meeting at the high school regarding financial aid, they are considering the Armed Services.  It is a great way to get training and education for a occupation, gives you an opportunity to travel and unlimited perks.  I'm thinking it is a good choice for this guy.
