November 7, 2016 Monday #warmup#heavenismyhome#electionstress#poetsheaven

Get Fit!
Slow start Monday, Pilates ring.  Don't judge me, it is an easy way to start the week, kind of a warm up to the more industrious type of work out later on.

Get Faith
John 18:10-14 & 14-37 - The disciples wanted a war here on earth to support Jesus' cause.  He reminded them that this is not his kingdom.  Our kingdom is not here either.  The study writer said this "Most of us hope for good government.  We vote, we serve, and we speak out for causes we believe are fair and just.  But political solutions remain powerless to change the condition of our hearts."  Good advise on this Monday before the election to keep in mind.

On this day
1996 - an omen - It was election day and Bill Clinton was re-elected to the white house.  20 years ago.

1874 - The Republican party of the U.S. was first symbolized as an elephant in a cartoon by Thomas Nast in Harper's Weekly.   Equal coverage.

Tacuarembo Uruguay
Tomás de Mattos Hernández (October 14, 1947 – March 21, 2016) was a Uruguayan writer and librarian. Being from Tacuarembó, de Mattos was one of the relatively few contemporary Uruguayan writers from the north of the country.
As a librarian, de Mattos also served as the director of the National Library of Uruguay.[1]  I see a definite trend here.  I feel like this is a Uruguayan Soho.

Enjoy the day!  Make it memorable!  Happy Birthday Emily!!
