Psalm 119:35 "Direct me in the path of your commands, for there I find delight." It is easier to follow the Lord the older you get - but I see Nicole and Kristin following His path and the joy they get in serving Him and teaching others to follow as well. They have a strong community of friends and a lot of churches they are connected to. Their joy and peace is evident in who they are. I thank God for them.

Walking - yesterday around Royal Oak and the Arts Beats and Eats festival and today in Downtown Detroit for the Jazz Festival. Trick yourself into getting some exercise.

1975 - My nemesis - Pete found me a new car. It was an Austin Healy Sprite, a little tiny two seater convertible, yellow that he loved. It was sabotaged from the start. He was constantly working on it for mechanical problems and later body work. It was fun to drive though. He brought it over on this day.
31 B.C. - The Roman leader Octavian defeated the alliance of Mark Antony and Cleopatra. Octavian, as Augustus Caesar, became the first Roman emperor. I find this interesting in it's relation to Christ.

A regional outpost of the Western Highlands District under the Australian Administration of Papua and New Guinea, shortly before Independence in 1975 much of the Enga-speaking region of the Western Highlands was separated into a discrete District and then, at Independence, Province with Wabag as the Provincial Headquarters
