Get Faith
Psalm 103:15-16 "As for man, his days are like grass, he flourishes like a flower of the field; the wind blows over it and it is gone and its place remembers it no more."  This is a temporary place.  A place to enjoy all that God has created and those you love.  It is a place to leave a better mark on - maybe with your children to make this a better place for others.  It is a place to worship the Lord as he has commanded, because He knows that we need a higher standard to look up to and He wants us to live our lives to stay with him in the next life.  Consider spending more time in God's house so you can spend more time with Him in eternity.

Get Fit
I did the Pilates ring today - working out the legs, arms and abs.  I always feel so much better after. It is something you can do to make this life and this time more enjoyable for yourself.  Stay healthy.

On this day
1980  "Too soon old, too late smart" is an old German saying.  The other day I mentioned that I might have been making more adult type decisions but apparently not the Saturday night before this Sunday morning.  It says "hungover - laid around all day". I'm pretty sure this is not what was meant by resting on the Sabbath.  My best decisions came way later - 1985.

1812 - Napoleon defeated the Russian army of Alexander I at the battle of Borodino. Wow!  France beat Russia?

Wabag Papa New Guinea
Archaeological evidence indicates that humans first arrived in Papua New Guinea around 42,000 to 45,000 years ago. They were descendants of migrants out of Africa, in one of the early waves of human migration.[20]
Agriculture was independently developed in the New Guinea highlands around 7000 BC, making it one of the few areas in the world where people independently domesticated plants.[21] A major migration of Austronesian-speaking peoples to coastal regions of New Guinea took place around 500 BC. This has been correlated with the introduction of pottery, pigs, and certain fishing techniques.
I am amazed how they can discover these things!

Enjoy the day!  Make it memorable!
