Get Fit
  1. Cool Your Body. You know that song – “Rock Your Body”? Well, if you listen carefully to mint leaves, you’ll hear them singing “Cool Your Body”… In all seriousness, mint is a cooling herb. Consuming mint causes your body to slightly lower its temperature. This is one reason that Mint goes great in fruity, summery drinks (like the juicer recipes I describe below!).  It is also perfect for tea when you have a sore throat!  Was talking to a friend about what else to do with mint, besides Mojitos and she gave me a lot of suggestions and then I found this.  It is going to be hot today so I thought I would share this with you!!   (Ten health benefits of mint leaves)

Get Faith
Exodus 3:5  "Take off your shoes, for you are standing on holy ground."  Maybe you saw the movie Exodus or maybe you know your Bible stories.  God told Moses to take off his shoes up on the mountain where the burning bush was and where he was in the presence of God.  Knowing that you are in His presence, it would seem we would want or need to show some type of respect.  We kneel, we stand, we bow our heads, we close our eyes, we clasp our hands in prayer - all signs of respect for God.  We also, sing and dance around camp fires with hands raised up in joy and happiness to a God that hears our prayers and loves us.  Take off your shoes.

On this day
1995  Nicole and I used to ride bikes together a lot.  She was ten this year and I was working so after dinner we went for a bike ride.  Quite often one or more of her friends would go with us.  We usually stopped for ice cream.  When we got home we had a nice surprise, Aaron was over and spent the night. These occasions were getting further between as he was now 18 and his life was moving ahead.  I loved that he still made time for us. It was so important to Nicole (and me :) )  Nicole do you remember the Rajda's?  from Sunday school.

1995 - Full diplomatic relations were established between the United States and Vietnam.  interesting.

Dalap-Uliga-Djarrit Marshall Islands
The Marshall Islands, officially the Republic of the Marshall Islands (Marshallese: Aolepān Aorōkin M̧ajeļ),[note 1] is an island country located near the equator in the Pacific Ocean, slightly west of the International Date Line. Geographically, the country is part of the larger island group of Micronesia. The country's population of 53,158 people (at the 2011 Census[4]) is spread out over 29 coral atolls,[2] comprising 1,156 individual islands and islets.
The islands share maritime boundaries with the Federated States of Micronesia to the west, Wake Island to the north,[note 2] Kiribati to the southeast, and Nauru to the south. About 27,797 of the islanders (at the 2011 Census) live on Majuro, which contains the capital.[2]  Capital is Dalap-Uliga-Djarrit

Enjoy the day!  Make it memorable!  Happy Birthday Marcus and Dave!
