Get Faith
Philippians 4:4  "Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice."  It should have an exclamation point at the end of that verse.  !!!  Yes, rejoice and be glad.  If you see the Lord as an avenging power out to ruin you and your future - you have it wrong.  God created the beautiful earth and everything in it, including the different people and the sensations of living life together.  So much to be happy about.  His anger is about those times when we disregard the beauty and destroy the earth and hurt one another.  He created you especially unique to enjoy this life.  Rejoice in the Lord!!!!!!!

On this day
1992   First thing of the day was for Nicole and I take Tatjiana to the eye doctor for a check up after her cataract surgery the previous day.  Then on to church,  St Paul's, I was the head of education which included VBS.  It is THE most entered door for children's experience with God.  So you need to get it right.  I had a great team, Sharon, Lynn, Sue, Maggie and Kelly.  We organized and reviewed the lessons and went to McDonald's for lunch afterward.  I got home in time for Aaron to get home, probably from working at the boat store with his Dad.  We went to the Shores Theater to see Beethoven, remember that movie?  The big Saint Bernard?  We loved that neighborhood show, it was small and we could ride bikes up there!  And big news!  Nicole!  Al Lahood bought the building and is going to reopen the show!  I knew you would like to hear that!!!

1693 - Uniforms for police in New York City were authorized.   EEk were they naked before?
