Get Fit
Did the trusty daily dozen today.  I think you could find them on any physical therapist page.  Good for you!!!

Get Faith
James 1:12  "Blessed is the man (or woman) who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him."  Not everyone has faith.  It is hard to stand nose to nose with someone and remain a Christian in the face of denial.  I don't want to say that their opinion is not worthwhile - I believe that we, standing strong in our faith to these people may eventually have them realize the strength you have in Jesus Christ.  They could be brought into the fold.  Love thy enemy and hope for their salvation.  Our reward is our life for eternity with our God.

On this day
1987  Mom and I packed up the car and the kids, Aaron and Nicole and went up to Andy's cabin in St Helen.  It was a little rustic up there in the woods.  Andy had a swing set there for Merri and Lindsey and some toys of theirs in the barn.  Aaron would have been 10 and Nicole 2 and they kept very busy outdoors in the yard.  Mom and I sat on the deck and soaked up the serene.  Thanks Andy!

1492 - Christopher Columbus left Palos, Spain with three ships. The voyage led him to what is now known as the Americas. He reached the Bahamas on October 12. What a lucky day for them and unlucky for the American Indians.
