May 15, 2018 Tuesday #HolySpirit#Walk!!#Goodman!#SanitSofiaChurch

Get Faith
Hebrews 13:20-21  "May he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ."  In the book of Exodus God shows how he works through his people to live the life He wants them to have.  There follows a huge list of how, what and where the people needed to be and do.  It is easier now, as Christians to know what we should do.  We have the life of our Savior as an example, the power of the Holy Spirit in us to help us do the right things and make the right decisions.  Now we can work in a way that is pleasing to Him and find the right balance in our lives.  If you need help, pray to the Holy Spirit to give you a hand!

Get Fit
Had to work a few hours this morning.  It is supposed to be nice later on so I will promise myself a nice walk.  Fit fitness into your schedule!

On this day
2007  The bosses buddy Don Miller came in to the shop almost everyday.  He was a friendly old guy that never hurt a soul.  They had a bad habit of talking down to him, especially Doug, the bosses son.  He always had a smile on his face and all though he and his wife had a very modest home and lived quite frugally he always brought me in some canned goods from his garden or, plants to put in my yard.  On this day I took him in a 12 pack of beer - just because.  Oh my, you should have heard the wagging tongues.  Don was thrilled to think they thought something was going on between him and I and I was evermore referred to as Don's girlfriend, even at his funeral a couple months ago by his family.  Rip Don I'll drink one to you today!

1614 - An aristocratic uprising in France ended with the treaty of St.Menehould. Look it up!

In the predecessor building took place the Council of Serdica held most probably in 343 and attended by 316 bishops. In the 14th century, the church gave its name to the city, previously known as Sredets (Средец)  Long walk and not many seats.
