Isaiah 60:1-3 All the lights in the world cannot compare with the light of Jesus. These three lines from Isaiah tells of the coming of the Christ Child. A child with a light so bright it was a star over the earth to lead the way on a dark night, it is the light that can reach the darkest inner spaces of a person and give them light in their darkest hour. He is the way, He is the truth, He is the light. But go ahead and put up those Christmas lights in His honor!

2010 - As on the first of every month when you are an office worker the company statements have to go out to all the customers. I actually did that for 45 years working for two different companies. I can't say I miss it. It is one of those repetitive things that you do without thinking sometime. The one change was that with the start of computers we didn't have to type them out, the computer did all that. Thank God for computers. Did you work in an office? Maybe you still do.
1909 - The Pennsylvania Trust Company, of Carlisle, PA, became the first bank in the in the U.S. to offer a Christmas Club account. I remember these but never had one, how about you?
Parenting
I am a cat momma. Or a crazy cat lady, not sure which. We do love our pets don't we? This cat of my daughter's is so spoiled and now there is no going back. At least he has gone from biting me to cuddling. I actually prefer dogs, just not the fact that they are needier. What do you have?
Book club War and Peach by Tolstoy
Have you read this? I am enjoying it, the story is just setting up though, with character background and such. I'm sure I will enjoy it.
