So in preparation for my surgery I am thinking I should really work harder to get in shape for a period of no working out. Couldn't decide what I needed to do today so I resorted to AM yoga. Meditation.

2 Corinthians 6:16, 18 "I will dwell in them.....I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters." This writer talks about someone who accepts God as an adult, asks forgiveness and is welcomed into the family of God. I was born into the church, baptized as a baby. My earliest recollection of the story of Jesus was at Vacation Bible School when I was about 7. I remember thinking that I wanted to be with Him. I guess I have. Never underestimate VBS!

2007 It was icy and cold here but Mom and I made it to church and came home and made meatloaf for dinner. I love meatloaf. My ex - husband made the best meatloaf ever. Mine are so/so. But, Nicole was down in Mississippi. She was on break from her senior year at Albion and went down to New Orleans and Mississippi to help rebuild after Katrina. What are you doing today?

Eastern Sudanese campaign against human trafficking

People living in eastern Sudan continue to complain about the rapid increase in armed robberies, kidnaps and human trafficking in the region. According to a former Red Sea state MP the recently started campaign against human trafficking needs to be enforced.
Hamed Idris, former member of the Red Sea state parliament, accused agents of the National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS) and police officers of being involved in human trafficking.
He wondered if the eastern Sudanese Presidential Aide, Mousa Mohamed Ahmed, would be able to successfully lead the campaign against human trafficking in the extremely poor region of eastern Sudan.
The Presidential Aide recently signed a charter together with eastern Sudanese state departments, and native and religious leaders in the region to put an end to human trafficking. This is over a year old but I was also reading about current problems, yesterday in regard to this. This is an extremely volatile nation with children seemingly the victims. Pray for them and help where you can.
