The explanation was is German  -- I can't do this in any language, how about you?

Get Faith
Proverbs 14:21  "He who has mercy on the poor, happy is he."  Have you helped out in a soup kitchen?  How about Habitat for Humanity or even donated to an organization like Samaritas?
If yes, you know the satisfaction of helping someone else that needs it.  Even making a phone call to a friend or family member that is ill or going through bad times is therapeutic to them and you.  The Bible repeats this message over and over.  Love thy neighbor, you won't be sorry.

On this day
2014  Was a Sunday.  Mom and I went to church and I made corned beef and cabbage for dinner.  It was my brother Andy's 72nd birthday but they were up north so we couldn't celebrate together as we always used to.  Very often, we made a point of going up to their place in March at some point or they came down for a visit.  Nicole was up snowboarding at Boyne this weekend - it was St Patricks weekend and getting to the end of the skiing season.  She is up there this year again but, not on the slopes.  The camp is running a middle school youth event at Great Wolf Lodge called Charge!  They were sold out!  God's work.

1527 - The Emperor Babur defeated the Rajputs at the Battle of Kanvaha in India. The only word I understand in the statement is India.

Lulebargaz Turkey

Facts[edit]

The city has a population of 100,412 (2010 census) and is the largest district center in Kırklareli Province.
Lüleburgaz is known for its sixteenth-century mosque and bridge, both named after the Grand Vizier Sokollu Mehmet Paşa and purportedly designed by the Ottoman chief architect Mimar Sinan.

Enjoy the day!  Make it memorable!  Happy Birthday Andy!
