Started off my Monday with some fat burning exercises. About 4 months ago I reassessed my diet, made a few changes and over the 4 month period I lost 10 lbs. I put on 3 over the holiday but have gone back to the adjusted diet plan and hope to lose another 10 lbs by summer. That and exercise are my plan to stay in shape. What is working for you?

Ecclesiastes 3:3 "a time to kill and a time to heal," Wars are a constant in our history and our current news. The Bible relates hundreds of battles and wars in many if not all of it's books. This is the evil that came upon us for not obeying the Lord. This is the result of power struggles and hatred between the people of this earth. You can be a dreamer and blame it on many things - like John Lennon's idea of religion, which isn't altogether wrong - but don't believe that the absence of religion would cure the wars. Peace on this earth is not to be had, but the peace you can get in your own life from your faith can give you that time to heal. Peace be with you.
On this day
1995 - This was a cold day - the guys stayed in the shop to work on equipment or cleaning, which meant it was a really cold day and the boss probably made soup. It was so cold that Nicole, who loved to play in the snow stayed in after school. And a memory for my niece Merri, who had her wisdom teeth pulled on this day. Sorry Merri, make better memories.
1850 - The first American ice-skating club was organized in Philadelphia, PA. Do they still have these? Today would be a great day to ice skate - just cold enough and then hot chocolate.
Family
I know some families that still do this. Flood the back yard and make an ice rink for skating. If you aren't lucky enough to live by a river or lake you can make your own. My dad did, back in the 50's after we moved into the city from living on a lake. It wasn't the same, but it was better than nothing. I hope we showed Dad the appreciation he deserved for that, it is a lot of work. Right Dwayne?

Mykolaiv is the administrative center of the Mykolaiv Oblast (province), as well as that of both the Mykolaivskyi and Zhovtnevyi raions (districts) within the oblast. However, Mykolaiv is also acity of oblast subordinance, and is thus subject directly to the oblast authorities rather to the raion administration housed in the city itself. Excuse me I have to look up some words.
