May 1, 2017 Monday#weights#JOY#choices#Reconstruction?#Busan 부산시

Get Fit
Strength training with weights.  Use whatever you can and build up.  I did legs and arms today, not to look like Arnold but to be able to lift the garbage bag out of the can and take it to the curb.  Use it or lose it.

Get Faith
Psalm 51:12  "Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit."  The joy of God's salvation!  After coming through the Easter season we all are fresh on how that salvation was bought for us.  God loves us more than His Son's well being, more than all the sin we lay at His feet daily - more than the evil and sadness that live in this world.  When you think about this today - "The joy of God's salvation" be thankful and praise our God for His generosity and be joyful.

On this day
1977  I worked at Quality and called Nan to meet for lunch. (I wish we could do that today but she lives in California)  At home after work I started work on my second job HOWI, House of World ...? Pottery and Mexican imports.  Richard (a GM designer called and stopped by to visit.)  Now I want to know, why?  couldn't I have fallen for and married a GM designer?  Nope.  Two jobs most of my life.  go figure.  Word of advice here to you young women .....

1877 - U.S. President Rutherford B. Hayes withdrew all Federal troops from the South, ending Reconstruction. 10 years before this sounded like a good thing.

Busan South Korea

Busan (Hangul부산Hanja釜山Korean pronunciation: [pu.san]), officially Busan Metropolitan City (부산광역시), romanized as Pusan before 2000,[nb 1] is South Korea's second most-populous city after Seoul, with a population of approximately 3.6 million. The population of the metropolitan area, including the adjacent cities of Gimhae and Yangsan, is approximately 4.6 million. The city is located on the southeastern-most tip of the Korean peninsula.  Wow!  big city, I bet a lot to learn here.

Enjoy the day!  Make it memorable!  Happy Birthday Kathy, Bob Adam, and Genny!
